GUO Di 

Dr. GUO Di holds a doctor of engineering from Southeast University of China. 

Dr. GUO Di serves as an associated professor and master supervisor in the Architecture School of SEU. She was also a visiting researcher in Housing Development & Management of LTH in Sweden and keeps close cooperation with it on teaching and research. At the same time, she is a registered architect practicing in many projects, especially on residential area planning and housing design. 
Currently Dr. GUO Di’s research interests and publications include sustainable residential design, urban housing regeneration, residential energy saving, housing for low-income families, interrelationship between housing construction, urban development, environmental impact of housing construction activities and application of industrial technology in the residential area. As principal, she finished research project the Research on Livability Evaluation and Regeneration Strategy of City Low-standard Residence – take Nanjing as an example funded by NSFC and now a research on Optimization of Residential Facades Integrated with Energy-saving Technology is in progress. She also takes part in a national important research about Green Building System as main researcher.
