Shi Beixiang, national registered urban and rural planner. Since 2018, he has been teaching in School of Architecture of Southeast University, participated in design and theory courses of undergraduate and postgraduate students. He has visited University College London in the United Kingdom;
The main research direction is Urban Central Area and Digital Urban Design, exploring the urban form succession law and mechanism based on urban big data and multi-disciplinary intersection.Presided over 6 scientific research projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China (one general program and one youth program), sub project of National Key R&D Program of China, et al. He has published more than 30 papers, one monograph in Chinese and English respectively; applied 13 American and Chinese invention patents, 7 were authorized; participated in and won 4 science and technology awards, including the gold award of the 48th Geneva International Invention Exhibition (rank 2), the First Prize of the 2021 Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award (rank 5), et al.; participated in and won 23 planning and design awards, including 1 IFLA Asia Pacific Design Award for Park and Environment, 1 First Prize of National Excellent Planning and Design, and 9 First Prize of Excellent Survey and Design, Excellent Engineering Design of Jiangsu Province.
