Research direction: research on the theory and design method of the superposition of material space and social space; response to the urban and rural built environment under the aging and social transformation.

Li Xiangfeng, the Training Object of “Six Talent Peaks” in Jiangsu Province, Deputy Secretary-General of Academic Committee of Architectural Culture of Architectural Society of China, member of pension service facilities special committee of Special Committee of Pension Service Facilities of China Association for Engineering Construction Standardization, Deputy Secretary-General of Jiangsu Young Architects Association, Deputy Head of Institute of Low-carbon Architecture of Southeast University, is engaged in the professional scientific research and teaching of architectural design and theory. He has presided over 6 subprojects above provincial and ministerial levels, including research projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Science and Technology Support Plan, Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People’s Republic of China, participated in 7 projects as the main participant, completed more than 30 design practice projects of all kinds. He has published 2 books, more than 30 papers, and participated in preparation of 3 industrial specifications. In recent years, Li Xiangfeng has been awarded more than 10 prizes, including the first prize of Innovation Achievements of China’s Industry-University-Research Cooperation, the first prize of National Teaching Achievement, the second prize of Excellent Engineering Survey and Design of the Ministry of Education, and the second prize of Excellent Design of Urban and Rural Construction System in Jiangsu Province. He has guided students to win the National Silver Award and Jiangsu Gold Award in the Internet + Contest, 2 excellent provincial graduation projects, and win many awards in SDC Solar Decathlon, Zijin Award of Architectural and Environmental Design Competition and other student design competitions.
