宜兴莲花荡农场茶室

LOCATION:Dingshu Town, Yixing City, Jiangsu Province, China

SIZE:392 square meters

PROJECT OWNER:Government of Dingshu Town

PROFILE:This teahouse is located at the countryside of the cultural town-Yixing.Around the site, there are rice fields, reads and lake, contributing to a poetic atmosphere by the lotus marshes.

We tried to combine the traditional theme of Chinese tea with this hermit scene, to find the sense of Buddhist mood in this area. I proposed to make the teahouse as disguised as the barns, a simple straight line by lotus marsh, not to interrupt the fantastic scenery. It is a part of the landscape, a house belongs to there.landscape,implement symbiosis of artificial facilities and the natural landscape.
