Research direction: vernacular architecture of Major “Architectural Design and Theory”

Xue Li, male, Bachelor of Tianjin University, Master, Doctor, and Associate Professor for the School of Architecture, Southeast University, is engaged in vernacular architecture of Major “Architectural Design and Theory”. He firstly opened courses including “Appreciation of Chinese Vernacular Architecture” and master course of “Traditional Village and Architecture”. Professor Xue Li serves as the undergraduate teaching of “Surveying and Mapping of Ancient Architecture” and undergraduate and postgraduate teaching of “Architectural Design and Theory”.

He has presided over 1 project of National Natural Science Foundation of China and 1provincial subject. He has published more than 40 papers and won 1 first prize and 1 third prize of the Thesis Competition of National Youth Urban Planning. He has guided more than 20 graduate students to graduate, with 1 provincial excellent thesis and many excellent university-level papers. For a long time, he has investigated in Fujian, Jiangxi, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui and other places, and carried out the protection and development practice of rural architecture.
