Gu Zhenhong, PhD in Industrial Ecology from the Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden, Associate Professor, and Deputy Director of the Green Building Research and Innovation Center at AESEU. After graduating with a master's degree in 2002, he taught at the School of Architecture, Southeast University, and went to the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden in 2006 to study for a PhD. He lectures on undergraduate architectural design and postgraduate courses on design methods for space form of green public buildings.
Mainly engaged in green building design creation, related theoretical research and teaching. He has published more than 30 papers. He has published one book and participated in writing 10 books, including one textbook for higher education in the 14th Five-Year Plan strategic emerging fields of the Ministry of Education. She has presided over and participated in 6 national and provincial research projects, including 4 national key research and development projects in the 13th Five-Year Plan and 14th Five-Year Plan. He has presided over and participated in more than 40 horizontal research projects, and won more than 10 prizes, including the special prize of Huaxia Construction Science and Technology Award, the second prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of Ministry of Education, the excellent design of Ministry of Education, and the excellent survey and design award of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Construction. He has presided over one design lesson plan which was awarded as excellent lesson plan by the National Architectural Professional Guidance Committee, and has won two domestic and international awards for his guidance in design teaching.
