Tang Bin is the Leader of Design Course Group for undergraduate at third grade in the Department of Architecture, School of Architecture, Southeast University. He once served in the Architectural Design Institute of Nanjing Military Region, Architectural Design and Theory Research Center of Southeast University. He is a National First-Class Registered Architect. Professor Tang is mainly engaged in architectural design, urban design related theoretical research and design creation.
The design research covers urban planning, urban design, urban renewal, large-scale public buildings and architectural transformation and other fields. Tang has presided over and participated in more than 20 engineering design projects and won many provincial and municipal excellent engineering design awards. Design teaching mainly includes the professional design courses for undergraduate at third grade and postgraduate from the Department of Architecture, and has won the high-level student competition awards as the academic advisor for many times.
In recent years, he has presided over one Surface Project of National Social Science Fund of China and participated in many scientific research projects. He has published nearly 10 academic papers and teaching papers in domestic core journals.
