Research direction: Architectural design and theory; Pedagogy of Architectural design
Zhang Yingle received his Master degree and Ph.D with distinction Cum Laude of Architectural design in Department of Architectural design, Higher Technical School of Architecture of Madrid, Polytechnic University of Madrid (ETSAM), Spain. He is visiting scholar at Polytechnic University of Valencia, Spain, and Tongji University, and will complete his post-doctoral research in TU-Berlin. His research includes design method and theory of modern and contemporary architecture design, focusing on spatio-temporal narrative and corporal perception. Related studies are published in several international journals. He is project leader and principal investigator of several national scientific research projects.
As teaching assistant of Project 1 and 2 in ETSAM and member of teaching group of Project Design in SEU-Arch and organizer of SEU-ETSAM international design workshop, Yingle has long interest in pedology of Architectural project design and has published several articles on this topic.
Yingle worked as assistant architect in Rockwellgroup Europe and Ulargui Arquitectos in Madrid, he has participated in several projects such as W Suzhou, Logroño high court, as well as other international competitions.
