Gu Zongchao, associate professor and postgraduate advisor for the School of Architecture, Southeast University, Executive Member and Deputy Secretary of the Academic Committee on Environmental Behavior of the Architectural Society of China, member of the Academic Committee on Underground Space of the Architectural Society of China, International Alumni Ambassador of Tokyo Institute of Technology;

He was graduated from Tokyo Institute of Technology (M.S., Ph.D.), was a special researcher at the School of Environment and Society, Tokyo Institute of Technology; his main research interests focus on spatio-temporal behavioral simulation in underground space, urban spatial analysis and disaster reduction simulation, and climate resilience of urban pedestrian system, etc.; he held one project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China's Youth Fund, and has published more than 10 papers in important academic journals as the first/corresponding author.
