CHUN Qing

Dr. Chun Qing is the Associate professor in School of Architecture, Southeast University, Nanjing, China. 

Dr. Chun graduated from School of Civil Engineering, Southeast University, in 2001, and received his Doctorate in Engineering from Southeast University in 2007. He served as post doctor of School of Architecture in Southeast University(2008-2010).

Dr. Chun has finished about 90 papers published on some important journals and conferences. There are about 30 papers indexed by SCI or EI. His research interests include: Structural safety appraisement of architectural heritages; Conservation techniques of architectural heritages; Preventative conservation technology of architectural heritages; Structural mechanisms of timber buildings. 

Dr. Chun has finished the research and repair design on 60 conservation projects of Chinese architectural heritages, including some important traditional timber buildings, some important traditional masonry buildings and some important Chinese modern concrete buildings. 

He is in charge of many fund projects, such as “Research on the mortise and tenon joints' configuration and structural mechanism of the typical traditional timber structures in the south of Yangtze River”, supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China(Grant No. 51578127) and other projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China(Grant No. 51008059), China Postdoctoral Science Foundation(Grant No. 20090450072), Fund of Jiangsu Construction Office(Grant No. JS2011JH02).
