Research direction: theories and methods of digital urban green space planning and design, basic education of landscape architecture design, etc. 

Tan Ying, Ph.D. is a member of Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Consulting Expert Bank and a peer reviewer of several national outstanding science and technology journals, mainly engaged in landscape architecture planning and design creation and relevant theoretical research and teaching.

She has presided over and participated in more than 20 planning and design projects, and won more than 10 national and provincial-level awards for excellent design, including the second prize of National Excellent Urban and Rural Planning and Design Award (Urban Planning) and the first prize of Jiangsu Province Excellent Engineering Design Award for three times.

In recent years, she has presided over and completed 2 projects, participated in and completed 3 projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 3 projects supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology (Provincial), and more than 10 projects supported by other levels of scientific research. As the first author, she has published 5 books and more than 30 papers in core journals at home and abroad, including 4 papers in EI journals and 6 papers in the highest academic journals in China, with 2 authorized patents obtained.
