Leng Jiawei is National First-Class Registered Architect, Vice Chairman of the Professional Committee of Three-dimensional Urban and Composite Building of Architectural Society of China, Vice President of Underground space Academic Committee of Architectural Society of China, Standing Director of Chinese Traditional Architecture Branch of China Engineering and Consulting Association, and Vice President of the Jiangsu Underground Space Society. He has been engaged in teaching, scientific research and practical creation of architectural design and urban design for a long time.

He has successively been responsible for 1 major national special sub-project, participated in 3 projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, participated in and presided over 1 provincial scientific research project, presided over 1 national standard, presided over or participated in holding of 3 national construction standards and 1national standard atlas. In recent years, he has published more than 20 papers on SCI and domestic core journals. Dr. Leng has presided over or participated in the engineering projects and won 1 second prize and 3 third prizes of Excellent Architectural Design of the Ministry of Construction; 1 second prize of Excellent Architectural Design of the Ministry of Education; 2 first prizes and 6 second prizes of Excellent Architectural Design of Jiangsu; presided over and participated in the architectural and planning design, which were honored bid winner and awards for more than twenty times.

He was awarded the title of Outstanding Young Architect in Jiangsu Province in 2008, the Title of the First Excellent Engineering Survey Designer in Jiangsu Province in 2010, the Training Object of “Six Talent Peaks” of Jiangsu Province in 2012, and the First Prize of Graduate Education Achievement Award of Chinese Society of Academic Degrees and Graduate Education in 2018.
