Research direction: landscape architecture history and landscape architecture and culture
He received his Bachelor of Architecture degree for the Southeast University in 1995 and worked in the Institute of Urban Planning and Design of Southeast University from 1995 to 2000. He received Master of Science in Urban Planning, Southeast University in 2003 and Doctor of Science in Urban Planning, Southeast University in 2006; Since 2006, he has been teaching in the Department of Landscape Architecture, Southeast University.
As the leading lecturer, he taught the main course of undergraduate History of Chinese and Foreign Landscape Architecture and the basic course of undergraduate Landscape Planning and Design. At the same time, he cooperated with other teachers to teach History of Foreign Landscape Architecture and the graduate course of Frontiers of Landscape Architecture Discipline.
He has participated in a series of educational reform projects, such as Construction of Landscape Architecture Undergraduate Course System with Southeast University CharacteristicsIntegration of Landscape Planning and Design Course and Chinese and Foreign Landscape Architecture History Course and Research on Curriculum Development of Foreign Landscape Architecture History Based on Cultivation of Innovative Talents, etc.
He has published some relevant teaching papers, such as Practice and Reflection on the Teaching Reform of Landscape Architecture History Course at Home and Abroad(Supplement toChina Landscape Architecture),Analysis Teaching Methods of Landscape Architecture Design Course in Southeast University(Landscape Architecture Education Conference), and so on.
He has directed a number of practical and innovative training programs (SRTP) for college students in Jiangsu Province, such as Change of Management Mode of Nanjing Free Park, Ecological Rehabilitation Design of the Front Lawn of the Middle Courtyard of the Four Arches Campus, and so on.
He is currently participating in the Construction of Design Integration Course and Course Construction for History Course Groupand other educational reform projects.
