Research direction: Research on modern and contemporary architectural theory and design methods、inter-lingual practice of architecture
Zhu Haohao received his bachelor of Architecture and Master of Architecture from Southeast University (SEU) with SOM Foundation China Prize, a Master of Architecture in Post-Professional Degree in Harvard Graduate School of Design where he was the recipient of Faculty Design Award, and a Doctor Degree in Architectural History and Theory from SEU. Before joining the School of Architecture, Haohao was a designer at the Office for Metropolitan Architecture in the Netherlands, co-founding Principal of Embodied Architecture Atelier and gained teaching and research experience in SEU as a guest lecturer and the Chinese University of Hong Kong as an adjunct assistant professor. Currently he focuses on the theory and design methods in the field of urban architecture, as well as the conceptual transformation of modern architecture with teaching, research and practice in related directions.
He has participated in a number of national and provincial scientific research projects, and has published relevant essays and articles in Architectural Journal, the Architect,New Architecture, and others. His design works have been published and reviewed in publications including GSD Platform, A View on Harvard GSD,Continuity Integration Integrity: A Studio Research Report of the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, Kenzo Tange Chair, and also participated in GSD Design Exhibition, Beijing Architecture Biennale and Shanghai Environmental Art Biennale.
