Brief introduction:Located in Suzhou, the hall is a Song style building in the new Suzhou Museum, and it was built at the request of Ieoh Ming Pei, the principal of Suzhou Museum project. It is an all timber-framed grass-roofed structure, and serves as the main part of Song style courtyard with Song painting exhibition. The buildings and landscape show the delicate and elegant aesthetic characteristics of the Northern Song Dynasty, with less axe work on the pillar stone and timber frame, and together with the thatched roof and courtyard landscape and furniture, a natural and simple garden image is shown.
