The Architectural Technology and Science Institute is responsible for the technology-related teaching work for undergraduates and graduates in the college, striving to empower the theories and technologies of building technology science to achieve the coupling among and optimization of various performances in the construction design phase, as well as provides effective technical support for qualitative design activities by quantitative means. In terms of scientific research, through effective integration of architectural design, architectural structure, architectural physics, building equipment, and other academic backgrounds, a technology group represented by three major research directions has been formed: 1. Theory and method of building industrialization design system based on the component method; 2. Technology and method for proactive architectural heritage protection; 3. Research and application of sustainable environment and low-carbon healthy building.
