Research direction: urban and rural planning and design
Yin Ming is the Secretary-General of Standardization Committee of China Association of City Planning and Deputy Secretary-General of Sub-committee for Urban Design of Jiangsu Association of Urban Science Research. He is mainly engaged in the creation, theoretical research and teaching related to urban planning and design.
He has successively presided over and participated in more than 20 engineering project designs, and has won national, provincial and ministerial excellent planning and design awards for many times, including 1 second prize of National Excellent Planning and Design Award, 1 first prize and 2 second prizes of Jiangsu Excellent Survey and Design Award. He has been awarded the Jin Jingchang Excellent Thesis Award of China Urban Planning and Excellent Thesis Award of Qian Xuesen Urban Research Association, etc.
In recent years, he has presided over and participated in many major scientific research programs of National Natural Science Foundation of China, Key R&D Programs of 13th Five-Year Plan of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Natural Science Fund of Jiangsu Province. He has published 2 works and more than 10 papers in core journals at home and abroad.
In recent years, he has repeatedly guided students to win the second and third prizes of the Social Survey Competition of Steering Committee of Urban Planning; the Academic Year Award of China’s Human Settlements Environment; and the Honorary Title of Excellent Graduation Design Team of Jiangsu Province.
