东南嘉木学人计划 | 第一季 ·展览暨论坛活动计划（2019）
1、活动缘起：
这是一条奔腾不息的河流，虽不曾一路摧枯拉朽，却在流过的地方留下一片片绿洲。这就是东南建筑的传统，或许也可以叫做“东南学派”。它的源头来自于1927年的中央大学、1952年后的南京工学院、1988年后的东南大学。
这是一片绵延不绝的森林，万木峥嵘之间，有的已成参天巨擘，枝繁叶茂，有的正生机勃勃，渐成栋梁。称青年学者为“嘉木学人”，既包含对成长的肯定，亦怀有对未来之期许。
东南大学建筑学院提出“东南嘉木学人”的活动计划，其目的是：长期推动东南校友与建筑学院师生间的学术交流，持续提高国际视野下学科研究与设计的水准，全面展示优秀校友的探索与成果，从而形成培养、助力，支撑，反哺的延续性人才战略。活动将汇聚中大院走出的青年学人，共同探讨东南建筑、规划、景观的传统，交流对当下学科传承与创新的思考，并和在校师生互动。
东南嘉木学人系列学术活动计划每年秋季定期展开，组织优秀校友参与设计评图，开展论坛或讲座，与在校学生交流结对。每三年拟举行一次东南嘉木学人作品展和研讨会，从而形成校外校友与校内师生共同交流的传统。
2、活动安排：
首届“东南嘉木学人展览暨论坛”将于2019年11月21日下午14:00于东南大学四牌楼校区前工院一楼展厅举行。本次论坛聚焦青年东南校友，邀请建筑、城乡规划、风景园林三个学科的优秀青年东南校友共26位（组合）参加论坛，其中包含建筑16人（组合）、城乡规划6人、风景园林4人，为他们提供一个展示作品或学术成果的舞台。
本次论坛将分为两个环节：学术报告与作品展。
城乡规划及风景园林的学人将参加学术会议分享心得，建筑专业的学人参加评图展。
参与学术会议的每位学人将获得十五分钟的汇报时间，为国际专家和母校师生介绍自己的学术成果。
参与作品展的每位学人在给定的空间内展示作品，展示形式包含但不限于图纸、模型等。每一个（组）学人将获得约五分钟的阐述时间，阐述自己的方案。

1. Activity Origin:
This is a river that never stops, leaving an oasis in theplace where it flows. This is the tradition of southeast architecture, and mayalso be called the “Southeast School”. It comes from the Central University in1927, the Nanjing Institute of Technology after 1952, and the SoutheastUniversity after 1988.
This is an endless forest. Among the ones that deeply rooted in this soil, some have become towering giants, flourishing, and some are full of vitality and gradually become a pillar. Calling young scholars "Jiamu" includes both affirmation of growth and expectations for the future.
SEU Arch puts forward the forum of “Southeast Jiamu Scholars”, which aims to promote the academic exchanges between teachers, students and alumni, continuously improve the level of research and design in the international perspective, and comprehensively display the exploration and achievements of our alumni, thus forming a continuous cultivating strategy of teaching, support and feedback. The event will bring together young scholars originally from SEU ARCH to discuss the traditions of the school, exchange ideas on inheritance and innovation, and interact with teachers and students.
The Southeast Jiamu Scholars Forum will be scheduled every autumn, organizing excellent alumni to participate design review, to present lectures, and to communicate with students. Every three years, an exhibition and seminar will be held. We hope to form a new tradition of the SEU ARCH community for more understanding, communication and mutual support.
2. Activity Arrangements:
The first session of Southeast Jiamu Scholars Exhibition and Forum will be held at 14:00 on 21 November, 2019 in the first floor exhibition hall, Qiangongyuan Building, Sipailou Campus of SEU. Main participants of this forum will be SEU young alumni, among which 26 scholars (or in group) are invited guests who are outstanding in their individual field of Architecture (16 scholars or in group), Urban Planning (6 scholars) and Landscape Architecture(4 scholars). The exhibition and forum will provide a stage to display their works or academic achievements.
Scholars of Urban Planning and Landscape Architecture will participate in the academic meeting to share experiences. Scholars of Architecture will participate in the exhibition to review works.
Each scholar participating in the meeting will be given 15 minutes to present their academic achievements to the international experts, SEU professors and students.
Each scholar participating in the exhibition will display their works in a specific space. The form of display includes but is not limited to drawings, models, etc. Each scholar (group) will be given 5 minutes to present their project.
