“从理念到空间：欧洲年轻建筑师的实践与思考系列讲座”将邀请欧洲年轻一代建筑师分享他们的建筑思考与实践经历。这些年轻建筑师都曾求学于瑞士等欧洲国家的著名建筑院校，并且在ETHZ和Mendrisio等院校作为教席助教或客座教授任教多年。在教学的同时他们也开展独立的建筑实践。围绕教学成果和实践成果，他们已经在欧洲多地成功举办数场讲座。系列讲座的内容将包括他们的建筑思考与实践经历。

自2019年以来，StudioSer融合了Rina Rolli和Tiziano Schürch的创意，项目遍及阿尔卑斯山南北两侧。StudioSer的工作室位于苏黎世和卢加诺，他们的作品探索建筑的潜力，将其视为材料、时间或人与人之间的相遇。他们研究的核心是揭示和强化一个地方、一个社区和一段历史的本质和独特性。在实践中，他们从手头的地点汲取灵感，因为他们相信，建筑必须从其所处的环境中诞生并找到其存在的理由。通过了解一个地方的社会历史背景，可以发现过去的线索，并将其转化为新的定义特征。这使他们能够根据一个地方的特殊性，在城市规模和微小细节之间游刃有余地创造出适时的干预措施。
StudioSer merges ideas by Rina Rolli and Tiziano Schürch since 2019 in projects spanning both the northern and southern sides of the Alps. Based in Zurich and Lugano, their work explores the potential of Architecture conceived as a matter of encounters - whether between materials, time, or people. At the heart of their investigations lies the pursuit of revealing and strengthening the essence and uniqueness of a place, its community, and its history. In their practice, they take inspiration from the location at hand, as they believe that Architecture must be born and find its reason to exist starting from the environment in which it is inserted. By learning from the social-historical background of a place, clues from the past can be found and transformed into newly defining characteristics. This allows them to create punctual interventions which base on the specificity of a place, juggling between the urban scale and the minute detail.

Jan De Vylder, born 1968, is a Flemish architect based in Ghent and Brussels, Belgium. He has worked under his name since 2000. In 2005 together with Inge Vinck jan de vylder architecten was founded. Later on in 2010 architecten de vylder vinck taillieu was founded together with Inge Vinck and Jo Taillieu. And more recent architecten jan de vylder inge vinck was founded with Inge Vinck. In this divers constellations Jan De Vylder has realized several works in Belgium and abroad and has been exhibited in galleries like MANIERA (BE), FRIEDMAN BENDA (US), TOTO MA (JP) and biennials (Venice 2010, 2014, 2016, 2018; Chicago 2014, 2016; Lisbon 2019 and Sao Paolo 2019). Since 2010 editing houses like 2G (ES), A+U (JP), deAedibus (CH), ARCHIVE (ES) and more recent TOTO Publishers (JP) have published several monographs on the work of Jan De Vylder. Moreover severel international nominations and prizes have been won like Schelling Architektur Preise 2016 (DE), Leone d’Argento in La Biennale di Venezia 2018 (IT), Henry van de Velde-award 2018 (BE) and nominated finalist Mies Award 2019 (EU). Jan De Vylder has co-curated the Belgian Pavilion at La Biennale di Venezia in 2016. The exhibitions Caroussel 2015 (gta/ETH-Z); Bravoure Scarcity Beauty (Venice 2016) and Unless Ever People (Venice 2018) opened new reflections on architecture and practice. Jan De Vylder has taught at Sint-Lucas School for Architecture in Ghent and Brussels, at TU Delft, at EPFL Lausanne, and at Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio, and since 2017 he has been teaching at ETH Zurich.
