会议背景| Background
随着全球气候问题的日益严峻，应对气候变化实现碳中和已成为国际社会的共同目标。在“双碳”战略引领下，东南大学联合国内外高校与科研机构，在可持续性城市更新与既有建筑绿色低碳改造领域持续开展深入的科研合作、学术交流与人才培养，积极推进生态文明新时代的城乡环境可持续发展。近年来主持“十三五”国家重点研发计划战略性科技创新合作项目“既有建筑绿色低碳改造与碳中和技术联合研究与示范”，联合中外科研机构、高校和企业，探讨既有建筑绿色低碳改造实现碳中和目标的技术路径；东南大学建筑学院与瑞典皇家理工大学建筑与建成环境学院联合开设本硕连读“可持续城市”双学位培养项目，致力于培养可持续发展城乡环境领域的国际化高水平领军人才。
As the global climate issue becomes increasingly severe, carbon neutrality has become an important goal for the international community. Guided by the development road-map of the ‘dual carbon’ strategic goals, Southeast University has collaborated with domestic and international universities and research institutions to conduct in-depth scientific research cooperation, academic exchanges, and talent cultivation in the field of Sustainable Urban Regeneration and Green Low-carbon Renovation of Existing Buildings. In recent years, Southeast University has led the National Key R&D Program of China – Strategic Scientific and Technology Innovation Cooperation Project,Joint Research and Demonstration of Green Low-carbon Renovation of Existing Buildings and the Technology of Carbon Neutralization. This project involves collaboration with research institutions, universities, and enterprises from China and abroad to explore China’s pathway for achieving carbon neutrality through green low-carbon renovation of existing buildings. Additionally, the School of Architecture at Southeast University, in collaboration with the School of Architecture and the Built Environment at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, has launched a bachelor-master combined dual degree program on ‘Sustainable Urban Development’. This program is dedicated to cultivating high-level international leaders in sustainable development for urban and rural environments.

本次国际学术会议以“迈向碳中和：可持续性城市更新与既有建筑绿色低碳改造”为主题，探索应对不同气候不同类型既有建筑绿色低碳改造的技术体系、评价标准和设计指南，交流分享碳中和进程下各国城市更新建设的政策路径、前沿技术与实践经验，深入推进国际间科研合作与人才联合培养。

The theme of this international academic conference is “Towards Carbon Neutrality: Sustainable Urban Regeneration and Green Low-carbon Renovation of Existing Buildings.” The conference aims to explore technology systems, evaluation standards, and design guidelines for sustainable urban regeneration and green low-carbon renovation of existing buildings of different types in various climates. It will also provide a platform for exchanging and sharing the policy pathways, cutting-edge technologies, and practical experiences in urban regeneration and construction under the carbon neutrality process across various countries, while further promoting international scientific research cooperation and joint talent cultivation.
